To celebrate the Games, Yorkgate Mall will host an engaging experience with a meet and greet with Canadian freestyle swimmer Olympic bronze medalist, Michelle Toro on Thursday, July 18, from 1 – 3 pm. 

Michelle won the bronze medal as part of Canada's Olympic team for the Rio 2016 Summer Olympics, in the women's 4 x 100 m freestyle and won a gold medal in the 2015 Pan American Games in Toronto in the 4 x 100 m freestyle.

Customers will have the opportunity for a FREE photo with the bronze medal along with her Pan American medal, FREE autograph, and a chance to listen to Michelle’s motivational story about her journey to the Olympics.

Visitors will also have the opportunity to write a personal message of encouragement and inspiration for this year's athletes on our Summer Games Inspiration banner.  The Inspiration banner will hang inside the mall for the duration of the Summer Olympics.
